We also manufacture and supply dry and fluid extracts of all plants on our list of mother tinctures. These extracts do not form part of our regular stock. An extract is generally prepared individually for each order according to the customer’s specifications. Please note the delivery periods required.
Extraction process: Fluid extracts are prepared by means of percolation with ethanol/ water as a solvent. Vacuum distillation and lyophilization is used to obtain the powder extracts in the subsequent drying process.
Quantities: The smallest order quantity for dry extracts is 5 kg and for fluid extracts is 5 litres. The upper limit for dry extracts is 50 kg, whereas batches of about 1000 litres and more can be produced for fluid extracts.
Analytics: Analyses are made according to the customer’s specifications and requirements. The minimum procedure is an identification test by means of TLC (thin layer chromatography), with additional determination of density and dry residue for fluid extracts.
